Thiruvananthapuram, Feb. 25 -- The Railway on Tuesday announced regulation of train services for commissioning of Advanced Electronic Interlocking System at Kumbalam Railway Station on February 26.
To facilitate the final phase of commissioning of the system, the following changes will be implemented.
The train (22645) Indore Junction - Thiruvananthapuram North Ahilyanagari Express, which departed from Indore on February 24 will be diverted via Kottayam on February 26.
The train will skip stoppages at Ernakulam Jn, Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha, and Haripad. Additional stoppages will be provided at Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, and Mavelikkara.
