Ranchi, July 23 -- A two-day regional workshop on food, nutrition, health, and sanitation concluded here today with participation from 14 states.
Organised jointly by the Union Rural Development Ministry and JSLPS, the event highlighted Jharkhand's women-led grassroots models and community interventions through Self Help
Groups.
Rural Development Minister Deepika Pandey Singh said 32 lakh rural women in Jharkhand are becoming key agents of change.
"Women's health is not just a social indicator but a reflection of economic growth. Mental well-being must be included in rural health focus," she said.
