Jerusalem/Washington, June 23 -- The Israeli government has said that while a regime change in Tehran is not the ultimate goal in its ongoing conflict with Iran, it is increasingly becoming more and more of a 'byproduct' of the war.

A spokesperson for the Israeli government confirming the statement said on Monday, that while Israel's current military operations in Iran are not aimed at toppling the Islamic Republic, a regime change could ultimately become a consequence of its actions, reports Iran International.
