Aizawl, April 28 -- The Chin Refugee Committee (CRC) based in New Delhi has urged Myanmar refugees in India to strictly abide by the laws of the host country, as part of efforts to maintain goodwill and solidarity with local communities. The appeal came after CRC leaders held a meeting with Mizoram's lone Lok Sabha MP Richard Vanlalhmangaiha. In a statement issued after the meeting, the CRC expressed gratitude to the Government of India for allowing Myanmar nationals to seek shelter in New Delhi, Mizoram, Manipur, and Nagaland following the military coup in Myanmar on February 1, 2021.
