Gorakhpur, Sept. 22 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath described the GST reforms as a Diwali gift from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the nation, saying the new measure will help increase employment.
The Chief Minister said a lower GST will increase the purchasing power of the common consumer. He said increased purchasing power will increase demand, which will fuel consumption, and which in turn, will spur production. With increased production, there will also be new jobs, he added.
