Jalgaon, May 23 -- Union Minister of State for Sports and Youth Welfare Raksha Khadse on Thursday said the Savda railway station in the district was inaugurated online by Prime Minister Narendra Modi under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
Speaking at an event, she said, "Rack facility has been created for farmers along with passengers at this station, and it will be useful for transportation of fertilizer and bananas."
MLA Amol Jawale, district collector Ayush Prasad, divisional manager of Bhusawal railway division Iti Pandey along with railway officials, local citizens and students were present at the event.
