Gangavathi, July 20 -- In a major political development, senior BJP leaders and former allies G Janardhan Reddy and B Sriramulu came together publicly at a key party meeting in Marali village, Gangavathi, putting an end to years of estrangement and signaling renewed unity in Karnataka's politically significant Ballari region.
The event, held under the leadership of BJP state president Vijayendra Yediyurappa, saw both leaders share the dais for the first time in years. In a symbolic gesture that drew loud cheers from party workers, Vijayendra raised both their hands together on stage, formally sealing the reunion.
