Chandigarh, Nov. 13 -- In a major development in the Delhi blast probe, investigators have traced a red Ford EcoSport car bearing registration number DL10-CK-0458 abandoned near Khandawali village in Haryana.

The vehicle, registered in the name of Dr. Umar Un Nabi, had been on the radar of Delhi Police following intelligence inputs that it may have been used by the suspects involved in the recent explosion near the Red Fort.

According to officials, the car was one of two vehicles allegedly used by the terror module behind the Delhi blast. Following its discovery, forensic and bomb disposal teams reached the site to examine the vehicle amid suspicions that explosives might still be inside.
