Chennai, Oct. 25 -- Tamil Nadu Minister for Industries Dr.T.R.B.Rajaa today saidthe ruling DMK has achieved an unique record of moving 11.5 rakes of paddy on asingle day by train yesterday in the Cauvery Delta region.
In a message here today, he said thanks to the timely efforts of TN Chief MinisterM.K.Stalin, team Food Ministry under Minister R.Sakkarapani and the TirucirapalliDivision of the Southern Railway, paddy movement has hit an all time record in thedelta.
"Yesterday in a beautifully co-ordinated effort between Tamil Nadu Civil SuppliesCorporaton (TNCSC), especially it's Loadmen, 11.5 rakes full of grains were loadedmaking it the highest single day food grains loading in history of the TiruchirapalliDivision of Southern Railways....
