Lucknow, Dec. 1 -- The 10-day Khadi Mahotsav-2025, has set a new record with generating a total turnover of Rs 3.20 crore, a 42 per cent increase from last year's Rs 2.25 crore.

Shopping pressure peaked on the final day, with stalls crowded until late in the evening. Khadi textiles, herbal products, jute handicrafts, and clay art were the top choices for customers.

A total of 160 entrepreneurs participated in the festival, including 32 Khadi institutions, 120 village industries, and 8 clay art stalls.

Artisans from various districts, including Lucknow, Muzaffarnagar, Barabanki and Gorakhpur, reported that this year not only increased footfall but also saw greater enthusiasm for shopping than before.
