Record level annaprasadam distributed to over 9.28 lakh devotees during Garuda seva day in Tirumala : Dy EO

Tirumala, Sept. 30 -- A record level Annaprasadam was distributed to 9.28 lakh devotees and beverages to 6.27 lakh people at the galleries on the day of Garuda Seva, the main event of the Srivari annual Brahmotsavams in Tirumala held on September 28 (Sunday).

From September 24 to 29, Annaprasadam was served to 23,48,337 devotees and beverages to 11,32,160 devotees. This is 33 per cent more Annaprasadam this year compared to last year.

Annaprasadam has been served to the 99 per cent satisfaction of devotees asserted Annaprasadam Deputy Executive Officer Rajendra Kumar here on Tuesday.
