New Delhi, Nov. 21 -- Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Sirsa today said that with the real time surveillance of dust control in city, fines of over Rs 2 crore, 200 show cause notices and 48 closure reports have been filed, with the inspection of 1,262 construction sites.

According to Sirsa, with the strict actions underway regarding pollution control, Rs 2.36 crore 'Environmental Compensation' has been imposed on the projects that were found to be not complying with the prescribed norms.
