New Delhi, May 7 -- Soon after the terror infrastructure in Pakistan and PoK was hit past midnight, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval briefed his counterparts in various countries and told them that India did not want to escalate but was ready to "retaliate resolutely" if Islamabad decides to escalate.
Doval called up his counterparts from the US, China, Saudi Arabia and a number of other countries and briefed them about 'Operation Sindoor' under which 9 terror targets were hit across the border to avenge the Pahalgam carnage of April 22 when 26 Indians, mostly tourists, were gunned down in cold-blood by a group of terrorists.
