Shimla, Feb. 9 -- Congress leader and PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh described the decision to close the Revenue Deficit Grant (RDG) as the beginning of a serious financial crisis for Himachal Pradesh and urged people to join hands with the state government to face the challenge collectively.

In a social media post on Monday Mr Singh stated in a strongly worded statement that RDG closure would have far-reaching consequences for development works, education, healthcare, and basic amenities in the coming years.
