Raipur, March 17 -- A commanding 74-run knock from Ambati Rayudu and a clinical bowling display by Vinay Kumar and Shahbaz Nadeem propelled India Masters to a resounding six-wicket victory over West Indies Masters in the final of the International Masters League T20 (IML) 2025 on Sunday.
India's disciplined bowling effort restricted West Indies to 148/7, setting up a comfortable chase that Rayudu orchestrated with ease, ensuring victory inside 18 overs.
Chasing 149, India Masters made an explosive start, with Rayudu and Sachin Tendulkar leading the charge. By the end of the powerplay, they had surged to 55 without loss. Tendulkar, taking on Jerome Taylor, struck a six and a four in the sixth over, while Rayudu dictated the early pace.
