Mumbai, Jan. 6 -- The youngest candidate from Mumbai for the municipal elections, 21-year-old independent contestant Raynel Fernandes, is shaking things up in Mahim Ward 190 of central Mumbai, taking on established rivals from BJP and Shiv Sena (UBT).
With his grassroots connection, youth appeal, and focus on civic issues like garbage clearance and footpaths, recently graduated from Mumbai's well known Wilson College, Fernandes will be challenging Sheetal Gambhir of the BJP and Vaishali Patankar of Shiv Sena (UBT).
