Kochi, May 24 -- Rapper Vedan, who was arrested in a drug case on April 28, 2025, has courted a controversy as his recently released song is allegedly defaming Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Raising a complaint against Hirandas Murali, known professionally as Rapper Vedan, Palakkad BJP Municipal Councillor VS Minimol alleged that Vedan, who has recently released a song that contains content which is not only defamatory to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but also seeks to incite social discord by using caste-based slurs and derogatory remarks aimed at dividing the Hindu community.
