Jammu, Nov. 11 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has scripted a momentous chapter in its cricketing history, clinching their maiden victory over the mighty Delhi in the ongoing Ranji Trophy Elite Group encounter at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
The architect of the landmark triumph was Qamran Iqbal, who scored an unbeaten century.
As per the reports reached here, Qamran's unbeaten 133 off just 147 deliveries, embellished with 20 exquisite boundaries and three majestic sixes, showcased a rare blend of artistry and authority.
Resuming the day at 55 for 2, Jammu and Kashmir, fuelled by Qamran's brilliance, steadily chased down the target in 43.3 overs with seven wickets in hand.
