Ranchi, Oct. 16 -- Ranchi will host the South Asian Games from October 24 to 26 at Morabadi Athletic Stadium.
The grand event will see the participation of nearly 300 international athletes and 150 technical officials from six countries, including India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Pakistan will not participate in this edition of the games.
The state's Department of Sports has intensified preparations to ensure that the event is conducted smoothly and with grandeur.
The official inauguration of the games and the unveiling of the mascot will be carried out by the State Sports Minister on October 17.
