Ranchi, Nov. 20 -- The Ranchi Police carried out a large-scale special operation across the city on Wednesday night, following directives from Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rakesh Ranjan, targeting groups involved in loitering, public drinking, and disorderly conduct.
According to police officials, extensive raids were conducted in nearly all police station jurisdictions, continuing late into the night. Major areas covered included Argora, Bariatu, Namkum, Kanke, Birsa Maidan, Vidyanagar, Narkopi, Lalpur, and Harmu, among more than 70 locations targeted simultaneously.
