Ranchi, Oct. 9 -- The Ranchi District Administration has issued a directive for all Durga Puja committees to remove temporary pandal, gates, and torandwars constructed for Durga Puja within two days.
Although the festival concluded on October 2, with the immersion taking place on October 3, several committees have yet to dismantle their temporary structures. This delay is causing traffic disruptions in the city and increasing the risk of accidents.
The directive has been issued in accordance with the Jharkhand High Court's order dated September 23, 2025, which mandates that all pandal and torandwars be removed after the festival and the land restored to its original condition.
