Ranchi, Feb. 20 -- The District Public Relations Office has issued a notification stating that, as per the directive received from the State Election Commission, Jharkhand, municipal corporation elections in Ranchi district will be conducted on February 23.
To ensure proper identification of voters during the polling, the Election Commission has specified a list of valid documents that electors can present at polling stations to establish their identity. These include the Elector's Photo Identity Card (EPIC) issued by the Election Commission of India, authenticated photo voter slip issued by the election authorities, passport, and driving licence.
