Ranchi, Sept. 29 -- The Ranchi Municipal Corporation has initiated extensive preparations for idol immersion following Vijayadashami and for the upcoming Chhath Mahaparv.
On the occasion of Maha Saptami, Administrator Sushant Gaurav, accompanied by the municipal team, conducted inspections at Chadri Talab, Jail Talab, Bada Talab (Vivekananda Sarovar), Joda Talab, and PHED Talab.
During the visit, he issued directions regarding beautification, special cleaning drives, lighting arrangements, and safety measures at these sites.
At Chadri Talab, the Administrator instructed officials to focus on attractive landscaping, enhanced cleanliness, improved lighting, and covering of drains with slabs.
