Ranchi, Jan. 5 -- In a continued effort to ensure planned urban development and strengthen civic management in Ranchi city, the Ranchi Municipal Corporation carried out an extensive field inspection on Monday under the leadership of Municipal Administrator Sushant Gaurav.
The inspection covered areas under Ward No. 14, stretching from Bans Talab in Bahu Bazar to Shani Mandir, Indira Gandhi Chowk, Chutia Police Station and up to Yogoda Satsang Ashram.
During the visit, around 91 decimals of municipal land between Bans Talab and Shani Mandir were assessed. Officials found encroachments in and around shops earlier allotted by the corporation, which were causing traffic congestion and inconvenience to residents.
