Lohardaga, Jan. 6 -- Train operations on the Ranchi-Lohardaga-Tori rail section have been disrupted after a technical fault was detected in the Koel River railway bridge (Bridge No. 115).
Cracks were found in pillar numbers four and five, following which train movement was suspended as a precautionary safety measure.
In this regard, South Eastern Railway General Manager Anil Kumar Mishra on Tuesday conducted a detailed on-site inspection of the bridge along with a team of technical experts.
The General Manager arrived in Lohardaga by a special inspection coach and spent nearly two hours assessing the condition of the bridge.
