Ranchi, Nov. 19 -- Ranchi Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Manjunath Bhajantri today conducted a surprise inspection of the General Branch office located in Collectorate Block-A.
During the inspection, Lower Division Clerk Pranay Prateek was found absent without prior intimation or permission.
Terming the act as indiscipline and negligence of duty, the Deputy Commissioner immediately issued a show-cause notice to the clerk.
The DC reiterated that maintaining discipline, punctuality, and accountability toward the public in government offices is a top priority.
