Ranchi, Oct. 18 -- The Ranchi District Administration has issued an advisory urging firecracker vendors and citizens to strictly adhere to safety measures during the upcoming Diwali festival to prevent fire incidents. The directions have been released by the District Disaster Management Authority, Ranchi, in the interest of public safety and environmental protection.

Vendors have been instructed to sell firecrackers only at designated, administration-approved locations. They must obtain mandatory permission or a No-Objection Certificate from the fire department before commencing sales.
