Ranchi, Oct. 22 -- Ahead of Chhath Puja and the upcoming Jatra Mahotsav, extensive inspections were conducted across city today by district officials and public representatives to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper arrangements for devotees.
Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Manjunath Bhajantri and Senior Superintendent of Police Rakesh Ranjan jointly inspected major Chhath Ghats including Kanke Dam, Hatniya Talab, Chadri Talab, Bada Talab (Ranchi Lake) and Dhurva Dam, reviewing cleanliness, lighting, barricading, water facilities, and traffic management.
The Deputy Commissioner directed officials to ensure all arrangements are completed on time, emphasizing sanitation, illumination, and security as top priorities.
