Rana, Patel out of U19 tour; replacements named
Mumbai, June 16 -- The Junior Cricket Committee of the BCCI on Monday announced two key changes to the India U19 squad for the upcoming tour of England, following injuries to Aditya Rana and Khilan Patel during the ongoing high-performance camp at the BCCI Centre of Excellence.
Rana has been ruled out with a stress fracture in his lower back, while Patel sustained a stress reaction in his right leg, prompting the selection of D Deepesh and Naman Pushpak as their respective replacements. Both players were originally named in the standby list for the tour.
