New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- The Supreme Court was informed today that Chhattisgarh authorities have filed a closure report in connection with the FIR registered against yoga guru and Patanjali Ayurved founder Swami Ram Dev for his controversial remarks against allopathic medicines during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The matter was heard by a Bench comprising Justice MM Sundresh and Justice Satish Chandra Sharma.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta apprised the Court of the closure report filed by the Chhattisgarh authorities.
