Kolkata, Dec. 15 -- The Ramakrishna Mission has spent Rs 1671 crore in the financial year 2024-25 in humanitarian activities benefitting over 1.42 crore people, the religious order said on Monday.
Mission Secretary Swami Sarvalokananda said in a media release after the organisation's 116th Annual General Meeting at its global headquarters, Belur Math in Howrah near here, that the entire amount of Rs 1671 crore was met through public donations, government grants and CSR contributions.
The amount was 30 per cent more than the money spent by the mission in the preivous 2023-24 fiscal.
The AGM was held under the chairmanship of Ramakrishna Mission President Swami Gautamananda.
