Hyderabad, June 30 -- The suspense over the next president of the Telangana unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has come to an end, with the party high command finalising the name of senior leader and former MLC Ramachandra Rao for the top post.
Following the directive from the central leadership, Ramachandra Rao is set to file his nomination at 1400 hours on Monday, party sources said.
The sources added that the BJP leadership has been engaged in detailed deliberations over the past few weeks to identify a consensus candidate for the state president's post.
