New Delhi, Jan. 13 -- Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has weighed in on the much-anticipated March 19 box office clash between 'Dhurandhar 2' and 'Toxic', framing it as more than just a contest between two films.

In a detailed and sharply worded social media post, Varma described the release as a confrontation between two fundamentally different approaches to cinema.

Using the hashtag 'Dhuroxic', Varma described Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar 2 as a film grounded in "cause, effect, and consequence," where violence serves moral, psychological, and political purposes rather than mere spectacle.
