Chandigarh, Dec. 19 -- Balwant Singh Rajoana, lodged in Central Jail Patiala, has written to the Akal Takht Sahib expressing serious concern over issues related to the Sikh Panth and the observance of the martyrdom day of the Sahibzadas.
In his letter addressed to Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj, Rajoana stated that the collective voice of the Panth is not being conveyed effectively to Parliament and the government.
He questioned whether the authority and influence of the Akal Takht Sahib had weakened to the extent that crucial Panthic issues were failing to find proper representation at the national level.
