New Delhi, Aug. 14 -- Remembering the horrors of the Partition of India in 1947, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today paid tribute to those who endured the "horrific consequences" of hatred and violence, assuring that the government is fully committed to further strengthening social harmony in the country.
As India marks Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, Singh recalled the "painful chapter" in the nation's history.
