Jaipur, Oct. 23 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reached Jaisalmer on a three day visit to participate in a number of programmes, including the Army Commanders' Conference today. Singh flew from New Delhi to land in the Jaisalmer Air Force Station today evening. Higher IAF ranks and district officers welcomed Singh at the air station, from where he drove to the Army station.
Tomorrow morning, the Defence Minister would fly for Tanot border post to pay obeisance at the Tanot Mata shrine. Thereafter, he would proceed to the Longewala border post by helicopter where he would pay floral tributes at the memorial of the martyrs who laid the supreme sacrifice for the motherland during the 1971 Indo - Pak war.
