Thiruvananthapurm, March 23 -- Former Union Minister of State Rajeev Chandrasekhar will replace K Surendran as new Kerala BJP President.
Party's central observer Pralhad Joshi, who is in Thiruvananthapuram, chaired the core committee meeting of the State BJP, sources said on Sunday.
Rajeev Chandrasekhar will submit his nomination at the BJP state committee office before 3 pm. The scrutiny of the nominations will take place at 4 pm. The official announcement of the new president will be held after the State committee meeting on Monday.
Rajeev Chandrasekhar is a former Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology. He also contested as BJP candidate against Congres party's Shashi Tharoor in the previous Lok Sabha elect...
