Alwar, May 7 -- 117 Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended in Rajasthan's Alwar district on Wednesday, police sources said.



These foreign nationals were picked up near Ramgarh, Rajgarh, and Bagar Tiraha.

The sources said the verification process for these individuals is currently underway at the police control room in the Mini Secretariat.



The administration is conducting an investigation to verify their identities and determine the legitimacy of their presence in the area.



Meanwhile, the administration has bolstered security arrangements in the district and appealed to citizens to refrain from spreading rumours and maintain peace.
