Jaipur, Sept. 6 -- The Rajasthan Government has urged the Centre to expand the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) for regular air services for Mount Abu, Sikar, Sawai Madhopur, Sriganganagar, and Bhilwara towns. The monumental tourist spots, ancient and mythologically renowned pilgrim centres of the state in addition to upcoming coaching hubs makes the RCS useful for Rajasthan, an official spokesman said, in a communique here.
Presently, the flights are being operated for three towns, Bikaner, Kishangarh and Jaisalmer, under this scheme popularly known as Udan initiative.
