New Delhi, Jan. 10 -- More than 8,000 youth will be part of the Rajasthan police force soon, helping in ensuring the people's safety, said Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday, terming it an important day for the state's law and order setup.

Shah, who addressed a ceremony of presenting appointment letters to the newly appointed constables of Rajasthan Police, said from here, they would begin their training and would further devote the rest of their lives to serving the state and its people.
