Jaipur, Oct. 2 -- The main opposition Cngress in the Rajasthan assembly wants to call on President Droupadi Murmu for making a representation before her in the matter of the installation of "hidden-extra" cameras in the House, an issue that had marred proceedings in the monsoon session last month.

The LoP Tika Ram Jully has sought an appointment from Rashtrapati Bhawan for a Congress delegation for making their point on the contentious issue.

This is an important issue linked to the decorum of democracy and the sanctity of constitutional bodies, Jully said.

He said this was violation of right to privacy of Opposition members as the two extra cameras focused and positioned on the opposition benches, July said.
