Thiruvananthapuram, April 2 -- Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday claimed that Rajasthan's healthcare reforms, anchored in the 'Right to Health' law and the 'Chiranjeevi' scheme, have set a national benchmark, while alleging that Kerala is witnessing a decline in its once-renowned public health system.

Addressing a press conference at the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee office, Gehlot presented data highlighting what he described as the success of the "Rajasthan Model" under Congress rule.

He contrasted it with Kerala's current situation, attributing the alleged downturn to misgovernance by the Left government.
