Jaipur, Aug. 18 -- Rajasthan Agriculture Minister Dr Kirodi Lal Meena has sought intervention from Civil Aviation Minister KR Naidu for flying a drone at a height of 10,000 metre for a pioneering project of cloud seeding to induce artificial rain over the Ramgarh dam near here.
This is the first experiment in the country in which a drone is used for cloud seeding for inducing artificial rains. "For the drones to attain a height of 10,000 metres, we need Civil Aviation Ministry's permission," he said.
