Jaipur, Sept. 18 -- Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagade has formed a five-member committee to investigate remarks made by Mohan Lal Sukhadia Udaipur University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sunita Mishra, who described Mughal emperor Aurangzeb as an "efficient ruler." The probe comes despite Prof. Mishra issuing a written apology.
In a letter of apology, Prof. Mishra expressed regret to the people of Mewar, the Sarva Samaj, and specifically the Karni Sena and the Rajput community.
