Jaipur, May 4 -- Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari on Sunday said the state is emerging as a conference destination, and credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi's initiatives like Make in India for the transformation.
"Rajasthan is no longer just a place to visit, but an ideal destination for international conferences, business meetings, cultural fairs, and global events," Diya Kumari said during her speech at the inaugural ceremony of the 'Meet in India Conclave' here.
The conclave is part of the 14th edition of 'The Great Indian Travel Bazaar', organised jointly by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Rajasthan Tourism Department, and business body FICCI.
