Jaipur, Oct. 10 -- The Rajasthan Police Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) has busted a major racket involving the recruitment of "fake ex-servicemen" as security guards in various government and public sector enterprises using forged documents and identity cards.

ATS Inspector General Vikas Kumar today announced the breakthrough, detailing the two-month-long operation code-named 'Square Pyramid'. The investigation focused on 31 offices and installations of the Food Corporation of India (FCI).

The operation led to the arrest of 28 individuals who were found to be operating under the guise of ex-servicemen. Kumar stated that these impostors were recruited through private agencies based on fabricated identity cards and certificates.
