Jaipur, Jan. 27 -- The budget session of the Rajasthan Assembly, scheduled to commence on Wednesday, is likely to be stormy.
The session will begin tomorrow at 11 am with the customary address by Governor Haribhau Bagade, and is expected to last for about a month. The state budget for fiscal year 2026-27 is likely be presented in the House around February 10. The exact date would be finalised after discussions at the House Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting.
While the Speaker Vasudev Devnani has been making efforts for smooth conduct of the proceedings in the House in a cordial atmosphere with due consensus, the Congress-led Opposition has been gearing up for bringing to the dock the government over burning issues.
