The question hour in the House proceeded smoothly in the morning, but turned chaotic when Leader of Opposition Tika Ram Jully attempted to seek clarification on a question regarding law and order, sparking a disruption.
Speaker Vasudev Devnani disallowed the intervention, citing that "only the member concerned can put up a supplementary." This sparked strong protests from leader of Opposition Tika Ram Jully and his party colleagues, who argued that the LoP has the privilege to intervene.
