Jaipur, Feb. 5 -- A dharna and encampment (Mahapadav) by environmentalists, Bishnoi vigilantes, and saints in Bikaner to curb felling of Khejri (Prosopis cineraria) trees continued for the third day on Wednesday, as former Chief Ministers Ashok Gehlot and Vasundhara Raje supported the cause of the campaign.
Around 400 environmentalists-protesters sat on dharna and relay hunger strike at the Bikaner Collectorate and the Bishnoi Dharmashala today.
