Sri Ganganagar, June 4 -- A 62-year-old man was sentenced to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment for possessing narcotic pills illegally by the Special Court for Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act cases, in Sri Ganganagar district of Rajasthan on Wednesday.

Special Judge Ajay Bhojak also imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on Jagmohan Singh, who was found guilty of the offence.

Jagmohan was arrested on September 15, 2022, in the Sadar police station area while carrying 1,240 narcotic pills. UNI XC AKT SSP
